Jo Beau vs FSI Can They Even Compare?
We get asked this all the time.
“Which grinder’s better?”
Honestly, they’re built for two completely different jobs.
The FSI B22 is the machine for awkward access work. Tight side gates, narrow paths, small gardens and sites where getting the grinder in is harder than the actual stump.
One recent job was exactly that.
The grinder had to go through a narrow doorway before being ramped across the whole garden and up another level because both sets of steps were too tight for access.
Once up there, the FSI made light work of the stump for one of our regular contractors before being ramped back out and loaded straight onto the next job.
That’s where the B22 is brilliant. Compact enough for difficult access but still plenty powerful enough to get through the work properly.
Then a few days earlier we had the recently upgraded Jo Beau B37-110 out on a completely different type of job tackling a huge stump.
Tracked, powerful and built for serious grinding.
The hydraulic tracking system makes a massive difference on rough ground, slopes and off-grid sites where wheeled machines would struggle, while the grinding depth gives us proper capability on larger commercial work.
